Notes on the Vintage
The Danes Hill vintage of Dalwood sparkling wine exhibits the generous character of another very warm year. On the nose, aromas of ripe orchard fruit, peachy richness and citrus zest, with a distinctive seasoning of toasted pastry.
To taste, the palate opens with bright citrus and crunchy green apple, before softening to riper, juicy stone fruit and pear flavours. The finish has a slight smokiness, with biscuit and lemon zest hints.
