Notes on the vintage
Dalwood Vineyard is delighted to present this 2023 rosé, created from the grapes of our single estate, one block vineyard in East Devon. This single block produces just 3,800 bottles of still wine.
The varieties are picked individually by hand, to ensure each variety is harvested at it’s best. We employ a minimal intervention, whole-bunch pressing method that allows the flavours of the crop to flourish.
This wine grabs your attention with its red berry and citrus aromas, with a hints of meadow flowers and red apple.
The palate is juicy and generous, packed full of cranberry, cherry and raspberry, all the while maintaining a crisp citrus backbone. The acidity is lively and lightly spritzy, yet controlled and integrated, while the saline and citrus finish makes it incredibly food friendly and leaves a lasting impression.
Made and bottled by Steve Brookbank nearby in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
